Disney has greenlit Ludo Studio¨s flagship preschool series Bluey for a third season (52 x seven minutes) that will premiere globally on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+ (excluding Australia, New Zealand and China) later this year. Bluey was created by?Joe Brumm, and is produced by Ludo for Australian pubcaster ABC and BBC Studios.
The House of Mouse has also ordered a third and final season of Disney Television Animation¨s The Owl House?(pictured) ahead of its second-season premiere on June 12. The final run consists of just three 44-minute specials. Dana Terrace (DuckTales) created and executive produces this fantasy series about a teenager who ends up in a magical world where she has a chance to become a witch.
Nickelodeon has ordered second seasons of live-action series Danger Force?(26 eps) and Tyler Perry¨s Young Dylan?(20 eps) that will both debut on June 12.?Developed and executive produced by Christopher Nowak,?Danger Force?targets six to 11s and?stars a group of superhero?kids who balance fighting crime with keeping their identities a secret. Tyler Perry is the creator and executive producer of?Young Dylan, about an aspiring hip-hop mogul who gets in comedic hijinks on the road to stardom.
PBS KIDS is getting ready to hit the road again with a second season of Let¨s Go Luna! from?9 Story Media Group and Brown Bag Films. This animated series for four- to seven-year-olds is about three animal friends who learn about farflung places and cultures. Season two (52 x 11 minutes) premiered May 10 on PBS stations and the PBS KIDS channel and its digital platforms, and it will start airing in Canada on TVOKids on June 5. Joe Murray is the series¨ creator and showrunner, with 9 Story¨s Vince Commisso executive producing.
Finally,?Peacock has ordered a 15-episode third season of American Ninja Warrior Junior, a?live-action competition series that pits kids against each other in a series of physical and mental challenges. A. Smith & Co. Productions makes the show, with Arthur Smith, Kent Weed, Frank Sinton, Jackson Nguyen and Sharalynn Cornwall all executive producing. A release date for the new season hasn¨t been announced yet.
