Khary Payton is well known for his work as the kindly King Ezekiel in AMC’s The Walking Dead, but fans of the show have likely heard his voice more often than they realize. A brilliant voice actor, Payton has a long history of varied roles in animated children’s shows and video games dating all the way back to the early 2000s.

Best recognized for his work as Cyborg in popular cartoons in shows such as?Teen Titans and Justice League, he has also lent his famous voice to other comic book-inspired characters including Blade, Aqualad, Black Manta, and Killer Croc.

Khary Payton stars as the grounded and loveable Wasabi for a total of 56 episodes and has reprised his role in Big Chibi 6: The Shorts, as well as in the popular video game Kingdom Hearts III. Big Hero 6: The Series is currently watchable on DisneyPlus.
Seth MacFarlane’s adult animated comedy first made its debut in 2005. Recently renewed for its 18th season, the premiere date is yet to be determined, but the show is still going strong in 2021.
